Olson Monuments & Memorials is a locally owned & operated monument company with over 30 years of experience. We create custom tributes that will respect and honor your loved one’s memory. We also make custom home ornaments, and pet memorials. In addition, we will do custom sandblasting, custom benches, and personalized yard rocks.

We learned our craft from generations of stone carvers. Our over 30 years of experience started when Travis got a new bike for his twelfth birthday. He hopped on the bike and road the 4 miles to Grandpa’s house to learn how to carve stone. Grandpa Harris started with an apprenticeship with SE Minnesota area monument companies. In the early 60s, Harris T. Olson went on his own to start Olson Lettering Service. Some 30 years later, Travis joined his Grandpa to start carving monuments. Shortly before Grandpa Harris passed away, they changed the company name to Olson Monuments & Memorials. Harris taught his grandson his unique 3D technique for carving roses deep into the granite called Shape Carving. The depth of their carvings will last for generations.
